FAQ
-
What is house?
House is a dance and musical style born from the New York and Chicago club scenes of the 70s and 80s. The style is heavily influenced by tap, jazz, Afro and Latin foundations and the movement is rooted in footwork, freestyle and moving to the music with a sense of freedom.
-
What does this course come with
This course comes with video lessons that break down the technique behind a move, video lessons that string these moves together into a mini-combo, written history and extra notes about each lesson, curated playlists and a mega combo at the end of the course to try all your moves together.
-
How experienced do I need to be for this course?
We don't recommend this course for absolute beginners as too many footwork lessons in a row can fry your brain. If you've taken the House I course however, then you're more than ready for this!
-
What do I wear?
Baby, whatever you like really. We personally like our street gear, baggy tees, trackies and kicks. For our weekly classes we recommend comfortable exercise gear and any sort of sneaker or sport shoe, but you're at home. Wearing pants are optional.
-
How much does it cost?
To learn all these moves and then drill them enough to get the hang of the technique, you'd be paying upwards of $900 at a studio. This entire course is only one payment of $69!
